  • I want to sell End Products using your graphics. What should I do?
All my products are licensed for both personal and commercial use, and you may use them in multiple commercial projects. But licensing terms can be quite confusing, so please check out my license overview for the basic terms and conditions for commercial use. The relevant details from the full license agreement are below: The Licensee may use a Resource they have purchased the right to use in a new End Product only if the End Product satisfies the following criteria: End Products must be significantly different from the original Resource and must not be used stand alone. The Licensee must combine the Resource with other graphic elements to create an Original Design, which requires time, effort, and skill to produce. The Licensee must ensure that the Resource is not the primary component of the End Product. End Products must be designed to ensure the original Resource cannot be extracted by any third parties. End Products that use Tool Resources (i.e. Photoshop brushes, pattern files) must be a unique implementation of the Resource and must not allow redistribution of the original files in any way. Tool Resources may only be installed on devices used by the Licensee (e.g. the Licensee’s desktop computer, laptop, and mobile device). End Products may not be used or sold in a manner that directly competes with the original Resource. Resources may be used in multiple commercial projects. An End Product for Sale is a digital or physical item that you and/or your client intend to sell to another person for any type of fee or charge (including offers for free). The total, or lifetime, sales of an End Product for Sale (including offered for free) may not exceed 5000 (five thousand) units. If you purchase a Licensed Resource that is used to create an End Product for Sale with sales that exceed 5000 units, you must purchase another License. If an End Product for Sale only uses Tool Resources, the Licensee may sell unlimited units under a single License. You may modify or manipulate a Resource, or incorporate it into other content to make a derivative work from it. Tioliah will retain all rights and ownership in the Resource, and the resulting derivative work is subject to the terms of this License, including stipulated Restrictions.
  • Can I sell designs that use your products on Print-on-Demand sites?
Certainly! However, you must upload a flattened original design where the product you purchased can't be extracted or modified by a third party. For example, a layered PSD file, vector file, or transparent PNG file are not permitted, but if your final design is flattened into a JPEG file, this is acceptable. By "original design", I mean that your final product must combine the graphics you purchased from me with other graphic elements to form a wider design. You can achieve this by adding text, backgrounds, illustrations, borders, etc. You can read more about the terms for commercial use in my license overview.
  • Can I use your products in my business branding?
Certainly! All my products are licensed for both personal and commercial use, and you may use them in multiple commercial projects, including business branding. If you want to use my graphics in end products for sale, you may sell up to 5000 units collectively. However, my products must be used as part of a broader design (not stand-alone). By incorporating other elements, such as text, backgrounds, illustrations, etc., you can create an original design. Please also note that becaue my products are non-exclusive, you cannot copyright or trademark any logos or other branding materials you create using them. Please take a look at my license overview for further information on commercial use requirements.
  • What is an "original design"?"
The license terms for my products require you to use them as part of a broader original design. You must not use them stand alone. This means you must combine a purchased item with other graphics and art to create a new composition such that the purchased item isn't the primary component of the design. In other words, your final design must be obviously different from the original resource you bought. If you're selling your final design, you must also ensure that the graphics you purchased from me can't be extracted by a third party. For example, you can do this by overlapping elements, adding text, backgrounds, and other illustrations.
  • My client/printer needs original source files. What should I do?
You may provide source files to your printer for the sole purpose of printing your work, and provided that your printer deletes the supplied files from their system after printing. For clients, you must only provide a flattened final design, not a layered source file. If your client wants access to the original source files that include my products, they are required to purchase a license for the products themselves.
  • How many computers can I install my purchase on?
You may install purchased items on up to three personal devices (e.g. desktop computer, laptop, mobile device).
  • Can I copyright or trademark my final design that uses your products?
No. None of my products are exclusive, which means it's not possible to trademark any artwork you make using my products. The ownership and copyright of Skara Digital Studio resources belongs solely to me, the original designer. When you purchase one of my products, you are agreeing to a non-exclusive and non-transferable license that does not allow copyrighting or trademarking.
